Derek Gallahan started his public accounting career in the New York office of Ernst & Young where he gained tax experience with partnerships, corporations, and high net worth individuals in their Financial Services Office. He relocated to Virginia and worked in a local public accounting firm started by Ernst & Young alumni where he served a variety of small businesses and their owners with their tax compliance and planning needs. Derek continues in a similar role here at EWA where he brings his experience and serves small businesses, their owners, and individuals.
Derek Gallahan is a CPA licensed in California and Virginia as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Master of Professional Accounting in Taxation from the University of Washington.
